SEPTEMBER 2023 IADI AGM & CONFERENCE:
On Monday, September 25, 2023, MSIC hosted a private dinner for the members of the IADI Executive Council (EXCO) at the Loeb House at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The Loeb House, situated within historic Harvard Yard, was the residence of Harvard presidents for many years, and today, is the home of Harvard’s Governing Boards and their administrative offices. During the by invitation-only event, IADI EXCO had cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres in the formal living room and parlor followed by an elegant plated dinner in the magnificent ballroom. Prior to dinner, guests were treated to a 20-minute dazzling performance by The Harvard Krokodiloes (The Kroks) which is Harvard’s oldest a cappella group. The Kroks charmed guests with a versatile presentation of contemporary and classic medleys that set a jovial tone for an evening focused on fun and camaraderie. The dinner was the perfect kick-off to a week ahead of tackling serious issues like systemic risk, banking turmoil, regulation and the significance of deposit insurance during uncertain times.
